► "xde cik,boleh cek online" ◄

that was a line from a 'Customer Service Rep' from FIREFLY, answering my question about the xtra charge.

Yes, it will be my 1st time here to ride an airplane. i want to go to langkawi since, not doing anything. lepak je kt umah ni... there is this promo on going till 10 March 2011, bout tickets to langkawi at only rm 45. booking period from 1-10 March 2011. Traveling period from 5 March - 30 June 2011.

So, i decided to call in to call centre. 1st i spoke to this one man.
► hello encik. saya nk tau pasal promo rm 45. tiket ke langkawi.
◄ bila nak pegi ?
► 23/3 ni.
◄ balik?
► err..xtau lagi, so, tiket pegi je.
◄ maaf, tiket promo da abes utk hari yg cik nk pegi tu.
► oh ye ke? xpela. tanx.

n then, after hanging up the phone, i said 'hey, yg aku plak tkut ngn die pehal? asal ak xty mne yg ada promo?'

2nd time call in (its a lady):
◄ selamat mlm,sy ida, apa boleh sy bntu?
► ye cik ida, sy nk booking tiket ke langkawi.
◄ bpe aribulan ye?
► 23/3 ni.
◄ balik tu bile?
► x..x.. sy pegi je dulu. bpe ye harga total?
◄ semuanya rm 118...(mind blank--blah..blah..blah..)
► (aik, since when price naik) errmm.. nk tye la. tiket rm 45 mmg xde lagi ke? utk tarikh lain?
◄ maff cik, kita xley cek.
► tlg terangkan xtra cas tu? sbb sy tgk online harga tiket sje rm 68.95 kn? (nada lembut yg mcm 'err,ak xtau ni')
◄ harga tiket rm 68.95, cas2 flight semua total rm 103.95. cas booking melalui telefon, rm 15.
► kalo order online, ada cas xtra tu x?
◄ xde cik, boleh cek online. (nada 'no money? get out!')
► oh, xpela,.. trima kasih ye.
◄ trima kasih hubungi firefly.

So, there you have it. Clean n clear the conversations that i had with the two rep. i talked to.  So far, the call centres' i called in, Astro has got good names for their customer service executives.

But, as far for the ticket booking, i'm doing by online. considering Air Asia cost lots more, i would just have to stick to flying cheap as cheap as the service could get.

For companies which deals with customers in a larger scale, please train your staff as you would prefer customer to treat you the same way.

haha... the good thing, they serve munchy on the plane... neway, xcited gile 1st time nek plane... i was like laughing in my seat....
